
Nelson Hersh, DDS, MS
Dr. Nelson Hersh is a native of West Bloomfield, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan for his dental degree, and St. Louis University, where he received his MS.
His goal is to treat each patient as if they were a family member, and provide the highest quality in a comfortable and friendly environment. He loves kids and helping them feel better about themselves and building their self-esteem. He believes each person is special and it is our honor to celebrate what makes them distinctive.
Dr. Hersh practiced general dentistry for several years before receiving specialty training in orthodontics. He has been practicing orthodontics since 1994. To stay knowledgeable of the latest advancements in orthodontics, he maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, the Oakland County Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, the Michigan Association of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation.
Dr. Hersh is a published author and speaks locally, especially to children and families, regarding the importance of oral health.
Outside the office Dr. Hersh enjoys his work with the Interlakes Girls Softball League. He is a member of Camp Tamarack and Camp Maas Board of Directors and serves on the West Bloomfield School Board. He works with local school districts to give stimulating presentations on science, chemistry, and oral hygiene. Dr. Hersh and his wife Susan have three daughters, Michelle, Jessica and Rebecca.
Marsha Beattie, DDS, MS
Dr. Marsha Beattie has been in private practice since 2005. Dr. Beattie strives to provide the highest caliber of treatment, where the doctors, staff and patients work together as a team to achieve optimal dental health and esthetics. She is a very caring, considerate and gentle person, and sees her job as a way to serve her local community- helping each patient reach their own individual goals and dreams.
Dr. Beattie graduated from Western Michigan University; earning her bachelor’s degree. She then attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and graduated president of her class. Following dental school, she remained at the University of Michigan to earn her Master of Science (MS) degree, making her a specialist in the field of Orthodontics.
Dr. Beattie is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and lectures at the University of Michigan in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Beattie is a published author in the fields of microbiology, human genetics, and dentistry. She also speaks to her local community to kids and families about the importance of maintaining oral health. She attends various continuing education courses to stay updated on current technology and clinical care. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, the Oakland County Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, and the Michigan Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Beattie and her husband, Adam, reside in Commerce Township and are busy raising their daughter Cameren and son Carson. Having young children allows Dr. Beattie to maintain compassion for her patients and their families. She will always care for your children as though they were her own and looks forward to the opportunity to make brighter futures for young individuals!
Amy Isenberg, DDS, MS
Dr. Isenberg strives to provide her patients with a confident, healthy smile that they can be proud of for years to come. It is with pleasure and enjoyment that she is able to treat her patients in a fun and friendly environment where each caring staff member is motivated to do their best every day.
Dr. Isenberg has been from the Midwest to the East coast and back again. She is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in pre-professional studies and psychology. From there, she moved to the big apple and earned her Doctor of Dental Science (DDS) degree from New York University. After dental school, Dr. Isenberg returned to the Midwest and completed a general practice residency at the University of Toledo where she received additional training in emergency and hospital dentistry. Dr. Isenberg then attended The University of Detroit Mercy where she received her Master of Science (MS) degree with specialty training in the field of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Isenberg has received many honors and awards during her academic career and has been inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Alpha Sigma Nu honors societies.
Dr. Isenberg recognizes that the practice of Orthodontics involves life-long learning and that continuing education is a valuable resource. She fulfills her continuing education requirements by attending courses on a variety of different topics including the newest developments and innovations in orthodontics.
Dr. Isenberg and her husband, Rob, live in the area along with their yellow labrador retriever, Suzy. Dr. Isenberg is a very compassionate and caring person whose goal is to provide the best care to her patients as possible. She is truly a “people-person” and loves getting to know her patients and watching them grow and achieve their goals. It is her pleasure and honor to be given the opportunity to serve you and your family.
